Cherokee Chicken

1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 minced garlic                                                                                                
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 minced green pepper
Salt and pepper
1 frying chicken, cut up
8 ounce can whole cranberry sauce

How to do 
  • Heat oil and butter
  • Add chicken
  • cook until golden brown on all sides.
  • add just 2 tablespoons of the fat (= grasso alimentare)
  • add green pepper, garlic and onion;
  • cook until soft but not brown.
  • add cranberries, salt and pepper.
  • cover, simmer 25 minutes.
