Ingredients
1 c. wild rice
2 tbsp. salt-free chicken instant soup mix
3/4 c. hot pepper cheese (julienne strips)
3/4 c. broccoli flowerets (pieces)
1 carrot (thin rounds)
3/4 c. walnut halves
3/4 c. red pepper strips
4 green onions (thin rounds)
Dressing (= condimento):
Tbsp: tablespoon
Tsp: teaspoon
- 1/2 c. Puritan oil
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1/2 c. raisins
How to do
- wash wild rice with hot water and then drain
- combine the rice with 3 cups of hot water and the salt-free chicken instant soup in a saucepan
- boil, covered, for about 40 minutes, until water is absorbed
- let rice cool (=lascia raffreddare il riso)
- put rice, ham, pepper, cheese, broccoli, walnuts, carrots, red pepper and onion in n a mixing bowl
- If you like, add a bit of black pepper
- blend (= unisci) the dressing ingredients and out them over salad
- mix well and chill (= raffredda)
